Children’s Church

Our 11:00 AM service offers a unique professionally produced curriculum based on three basic truths modeled by Jesus to teach our children a biblical perspective on handling their daily lives. Curricular goals are modeled around these truths. “I need to make the wise choice; I can trust God no matter what; and I should treat others the way I want to be treated”. Through Bible verse, story and unique activities, our children learn self-control, honor, kindness, forgiveness and much more.
The following gives a perspective of the curriculum:
January 2012
Self-Control: Choosing to do what you should do and not what you want to do.
* Week1: God can give you the power to control yourself. Proverbs 25:28; James 1:19
* Week 2: Pause before you lose your temper. Proverbs 16:32
* Week 3: Select your words carefully. Proverbs 12:8
* Week 4: Know when to stop. Proverbs 25:16
* Week 5: Use the Bible to guide your thoughts. Philippians 4:8
February 2012
Honor: Letting someone know you see how valuable they really are.
* Week 1: Honor those who are over looked. 1 Samuel 16:1 – 13; Romans 12:10
* Week 2: Honor others more than yourself. 1 Samuel 18: 1 – 4 and 5 – 9
* Week 3: Honor those who are over you. 2 Samuel 15: 1 – 16 and 18: 5 – 7
* Week 4: Honor God in front of others. 2 Samuel 6:12 and 22
